About Me

Upon earning my Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Colorado State University, and inspired by my studies to pursue a career in media, I headed west to Los Angeles.

I spent the early years of my career as a Production Assistant, working on set for a multitude of television and film productions. My hard work paid off and I moved up to become a Video Editor. I edited movie trailers for TV broadcasts. The clients included major studios – 20th Century Fox, Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros., and Sony. Four years later, I moved on to support a post-production company that produced ESPN’s World Series of Poker. In those two years, I worked on two WSOP series along with other editing pieces for CBS Sports Alt Games. After a rewarding decade in Los Angeles, I sought new adventure and decided to head north to San Francisco.

I arrived in San Francisco with a job at Bleacher Report, the second-largest sports network in the country. I spent about 14 months editing sports pieces that would be featured on the Bleacher Report website and mobile app. I continued to seek further career development and determined to focus my energies on my passion for production.

To this end, I secured an exciting role at Discovery Digital Networks (DDN) as an Associate Producer and attained a promotion to a Producer title. I worked on multiple YouTube shows that garnered more than three million subscribers collectively and over 350 million views. One of the most rewarding parts of this job was working on Seeker Daily, a world news show where I contributed to its exponential growth. My most gratifying experience was flying to Berlin on a day’s notice to solo produce a DNews (our science show) VR episode in collaboration with Disney's Marvel Studios and YouTube.

Alas, change was inevitable - DDN merged with four other companies under a new umbrella company: Group Nine Media, and with the merger, reorganization was imminent. Beloved shows were cancelled and my team was disbanded.

I then moved on to the new fitness start-up, Tonal, as their first hire of the Content team I was able to start at the beginning and have my hand in all that was developed. Over the 6 years that I was there, we grew from one San Francisco studio to studios in three cities; SF, Los Angeles, and New York, while growing the team from the initial three to over 100. Producing daily content for a weekly release we always were providing our customers with new and fresh content to help with their fitness journey. During the pandemic, we quickly converted to an at-home filming style for the coaches and never missed a beat on our release schedule. But as with everything change came and after two reductions in the workforce I am now looking for my next adventure.

Currently, I am searching for that next exciting and new adventure. Senior Producer, Digital Producer, Creative Producer, Development and Strategy, whatever the position might be, I am ready for the challenge. Whether it is Fitness and Wellness, News, Marketing, Gaming, or something brand new I am excited to take on a new opportunity.
